Job Title: Quality Control & Assurance Manager
Location: Congo (on-site)

Salary: USD 3,500 – 4,500 per month + Accommodation

Position Summary:
The Quality Control & Assurance Manager will oversee all quality-related functions in the plant
to ensure that products meet both internal standards and regulatory requirements. This role
combines operational quality control with strategic quality assurance, and is vital in maintaining
the integrity and safety of food production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control (QC):
• Supervise raw material, in-process, and finished product testing.
• Ensure testing procedures are properly followed and documented.
• Oversee laboratory operations and manage QC analysts/technicians.
• Approve or reject incoming materials and finished products based on compliance with
standards.
Quality Assurance (QA):
• Develop, implement, and maintain food safety and quality management systems
(HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP).
• Lead internal audits and prepare for third-party and government inspections.
• Drive continuous improvement in product quality and compliance.
• Manage customer complaints and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Leadership & Compliance:
• Train and mentor the QC/QA team on best practices and regulatory updates.
• Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related
issues.
• Ensure full compliance with local and international food safety regulations.
• Report regularly to senior management on quality metrics and risk assessments.
Candidate Profile:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related
discipline.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in a QC/QA role within a food or beverage
manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, ISO, GMP).
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent documentation and communication abilities.
• Fluent in French (spoken and written); English is a plus.
• Willingness to relocate and live in Congo; accommodation will be provided.
