Accounting Manager – Insurance

    JOB OVERVIEW

    – Responsible for all aspects of accounting (accounts payable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliation, reinsurance reconciliations, intercompany reconciliation, calculation of reserves, release reserves, and ensuring proper reserving)
    – Responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial month end closing and reconciliations
    – Prepare stamps and tax reports for the group: quarterly, bi-annually, or annually for MOF
    – Process depreciation
    – Prepare ICC quarterly, bi-annual, and annual reports
    – Prepare financial statements: income statements, balance sheets, cash flows
    – Preparation of budgets, forecasts, and projections
    – Review inter-companies, payroll NSSF and tax calculation, reinsurance and technical- accounting reconciliation
    – Other finance or accounting duties
    – Minimum BA/BS from a reputable university
    – CPA or CMA is a plus
    – Knowledge in Insurance accounting is a plus
    – Preferably having worked with any of the big 4 (PWC, EY, KPMG, Deloitte)
