JOB OVERVIEW
Responsibilities:
Will be handling the sales and business development for the oil & gas , F&B , Bottling sectors
Establish new, and maintain existing, relationships with customers through managing and interpreting customer requirements.
Prepare & make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product will meet client needs.
Persuade clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery.
Collect and interpret project details, drawings, BOQs and customers’ requirements.
Prepare tenders, proposals, quotations, and submittals.
Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs.
Design and oversee building of LV panels based on clients requirements.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Record and maintain client contact data.
Provide pre-sales technical assistance, product education and after-sales support by communication with Technician team.
Solve clients’ problems.
Organize sales visits to contractors, consultants, architects, and end users.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Prepare sales reports with the status of each opportunity.
Achieve sales targets.
Follow up on stock level, identify slow moving and nonmoving items.
Review products’ orders with procurement department based on market demand and stock availability.
Liaise with and manage other members of the sales team and other technical experts to deliver departmental targets.
Develop & implement marketing plans to increase company and brands awareness.
Create strong brands positioning in the market and grow its market share.
New products development in response to market needs.
Attend trade shows, conferences and other events.
Organize seminars for clients and end-users in collaboration with OEMs. Based on Management approval, arrange visit by clients / consultants to OEMs.
Provide training and produce support material for the sales team on all products.
Work under deadline pressures in an efficient, composed and calm manner.
Requirements:
1st Degree in Electrical Engineering.
A minimum of 10 years of electrical sales experience.
6 years of experience in a managerial position in the same industry
Experience in design and building of LV electrical panels
Familiarity with the Nigerian market
Good command of AutoCAD and other design softwares.
Good Knowledge of business Applications: Microsoft, Acrobat etc.
Computer Literacy.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
