JOB OVERVIEW

Responsibilities:
• Meeting with clients to discuss their technical and engineering needs.
• translating their needs into designs for new facilities, equipment or systems.
• Conducting site visits and researching technical processes.
• Conducting initial fact-finding surveys, project inception, formulation and concept planning.
• Providing expert advice on available solutions and technical changes.
• Project managing the implementation of technical solutions.
• Troubleshooting engineering and technical faults.
• Evaluating the functionality of redesigned processes.
• Maintaining strong client relationships.
• Conducing after-service site visits.
• Managing and supervising engineering projects for clients, sometimes internationally.
• Supervising subcontractors who provide specialist assistance for parts of the project.
• Organising the project logistics, including purchasing and supply chain management.
• Liaising with others involved, including architects, local authorities and manufacturers.

Requirements:

• Has previous experience in in civil engineering or architecture
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a similar field.
• Proven portfolio of completed projects.
• Experience with sales and marketing preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience as an engineering consultant.
• Detailed understanding of mechanical and electrical processes.
• Proficiency in computer engineering and design software.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with project management and team management.
