Responsibilities:
– Ensure effective cost management.
– Monitor expenses alongside the budget.
Identify opportunities for cost optimization/savings
– Understand the business processes and related risks of the entity.
– Put processes in place to execute the audit plan effectively and meet the needs of the entity
– Conduct audit meetings to obtain customer feedback and to advise on improvements and close-out of findings.
– Execute the audit effectively and ensure accurate recording of findings.
– Build & maintain customer relationships through constructive engagement and reporting.
– Ensure the audit process meets best practice standards.
– Finalize the audit scope and align with the audit plan to ensure all areas identified are covered.
– Conducts interviews with process owners to ensure risks are identified and mitigating factors are listed.

– Draft the audit report and highlight non-conformities.
– Participate in the incident investigation process to ensure investigations are conducted effectively and root cause analysis takes place.
– Ensure best practice is continually applied during the audit process.
– Continuously identify potential operational, financial & compliance risks in the area of audit to ensure the correct mitigation factors are implemented.
– Meet the audit deadlines.
– Recommend changes during the audit process to ensure a comprehensive audit is done.
– Support the external audit process and assist with the closing-out of findings.
– Comply with all company policies & procedures.
– Provide technical advice to the area being audited.
