Line Chef


    Summary of Position
    Cook dishes accurately and according to company standards as well as prepare and
    portion food products prior to cooking. Also perform other duties in the areas of food
    and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing of cooked items and
    preparing appropriate garnishes for all menu item plates as per assigned Line.
    Duties and responsibilities
    ü Promote culture and values of Brunch and Cake
    ü Stock and maintain fully operational kitchen line
    ü Assume full responsibility for products served
    ü Prepare food items as per company spec and standards and following Food
    Safety procedures
    ü Monitor stock levels and assist management in placing orders
    ü Follow FIFO procedure
    ü Accurately fill out Production sheets
    ü Receive and allocate deliveries following Food Safety procedures
    ü Prepare MEP necessary for the operation
    ü Portion food products according to the company specs and standards and
    following Food Safety procedures
    ü Follow plating as per company standards
    ü Have extensive knowledge on products served
    ü Keep line section clean and organized
    ü Carry out opening and closing procedures according to the checklist provided
    ü Clean and sanitize work area, utensils and equipment
    ü Record wastage accurately
    ü Follow all company processes and procedures
    ü Perform well under pressure and in busy environment
    ü Show teamwork and support colleagues
    ü Carry out any other task outside of direct duties if asked by a colleague or a
    ü Follow company grooming and hygiene standards
    ü Follow Food safety and Health and Safety procedures
    ü Adhere to local legislation rules and regulations
    ü Attend all the training required
    ü Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for
