JOB OVERVIEW

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy:
• Develop and implement strategic plans to meet the organization’s objectives.
• Provide leadership and guidance to staff, fostering a positive work environment.
• Ensure that the NGO’s programs align with the mission and priorities.
Financial Management & Fundraising:
• Manage the organization’s budget and ensure sound financial practices.
• Lead fundraising activities and build long-term relationships with donors and partners.
• Identify new funding opportunities and prepare grant applications.
Program Management:
• Oversee the design, implementation, and monitoring of programs and projects.
• Set performance targets and evaluate the effectiveness of ongoing initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and donor requirements.
Governance & Reporting:
• Report to the Board of Directors and provide timely updates on operations.
• Develop policies and frameworks to improve organizational efficiency.
• Prepare detailed progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
External Relations & Advocacy:
• Act as the spokesperson for the organization and represent it at events and meetings.
• Establish and maintain relationships with government agencies, donors, partners, and media.
• Advocate for issues relevant to the NGO’s mission and build public awareness campaigns.

Qualifications & Skills:
• Proven experience (7+ years) in leadership roles within the NGO sector or related fields.
• Strong background in program management, strategic planning, and fundraising.
• Solid understanding of financial management, including budgeting and reporting.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Lebanese social, political, and economic contexts.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (French is a plus).
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.

• Salary range : $4500 – $5000
