    Job Summary: The Quality Control Manager is responsible for ensuring that all confectionery products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This role involves overseeing the quality control team, developing and implementing quality control procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and customer requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Quality Control Operations:
      • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and processes for all stages of confectionery production.
      • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the quality control team.
      • Conduct regular inspections and audits of the production process to ensure adherence to quality standards.
    2. Regulatory Compliance:
      • Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety and quality regulations, including HACCP, ISO, and GMP standards.
      • Keep up-to-date with changes in industry regulations and standards, and implement necessary adjustments to processes and procedures.
    3. Product Testing:
      • Oversee the testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet specifications.
      • Develop and validate testing methods and procedures.
      • Analyze test results and take corrective actions when necessary.
    4. Documentation and Reporting:
      • Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control activities, including test results, inspections, and audits.
      • Prepare regular reports on quality performance and present findings to senior management.
      • Manage documentation related to quality control procedures and compliance.
    5. Training and Development:
      • Train and develop quality control staff on proper testing and inspection techniques.
      • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness within the organization.
    6. Problem-Solving:
      • Investigate and resolve quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformities.
      • Implement corrective and preventive actions to address and mitigate quality problems.
    7. Continuous Improvement:
      • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and operational efficiency.
      • Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for process improvements.


    • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or a related field.
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control within the food manufacturing industry, preferably in confectionery.
    • In-depth knowledge of quality control methodologies, food safety regulations, and industry standards.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficient in using quality control software and tools.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
