JOB OVERVIEW
Responsibilities:
- Head the Market Research, the analysis of the competitor’s performance and recommend actions to the CEO and to any other concerned department
Work with the IT and Commercial departments to make sure data is properly entered and easily extracted from the system in a manner that can be analyzed as needed - Oversee and guide the analysis of the detailed internal performance of the company’s products and brands, present the outcome and recommend actions to the CEO and concerned departments
- Propose a change of the Strategy and Positioning of all Brands / Categories/ Products / Communication as needed and then work on revising them periodically
- Propose New Products to Launch including their Launch Plan, Campaign details (ATL, BTL, Digital, etc.) and Budget, while making sure to stick to or even stay below budget
- Propose, in coordination with the Commercial Department, the discontinuation or replacement or underperforming products with proper rationale
- Propose Planograms for Merchandizers to Follow, especially related to private label brands
- Plan & Implement all activities on all Media Channels, especially the BTL instore activations
- Content Creation
- PR and events
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications; Focused Trainings and Certifications in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Marketing, SM, and all related fields are a “plus”.
- At least 20 years of experience in Marketing with a minimum of 5 years of Senior Marketing Managerial Experience
- Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for all marketing aspects (Branding, new product launches, product promotions, product discontinuations, Planogram designs, Data Analysis, etc.)
- Experience in recruiting, developing, and managing a team of marketers at all levels of seniority and functions
- Solid understanding and experience in market research, data analysis, interpretation and recommendation
- Understanding of other corporate support functions that typically liaise with the Marketing Department (such as Finance, HR, CSR and IT)
- A leader with both creative and analytical capabilities
- Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in Arabic and English, written and oral
