Desired candidate profile: -Mechanical Engineering Degree, Minimum 8 Years of experience in handling projects including oil & gas industry & QA/QC. Candidates should have knowledge in document development, standards and specification development, hydraulics, lifting, and computer application (SAP, Microsoft word, Power point, data base, etc.)

Position Senior Technical Assistant Division / Dept. QP Material Specialist & Inspectors (GTC-17103000) Contract Status Single Status Duration of Probation 6 Months (during probation, if services are poor, employee can be terminated with short notice) Monthly Basic Salary ■ QR. 8,500/- Per Month Food Allowance ■ QR.300/- Per Month Accommodation ■ QR.1000/- Per Month Transportation ■ QR.500/- Per Month Leave Salary ■ 21 days upon completion of 1 year. Gratuity ■ 21 days for each year worked. Gratuity is applicable only if service period exceeds one year. Air Ticket ■ Provided after 1 years completion to the nearest Airport ( as per Home of Record) Medical Card Provided by Company W.C. Insurance Provided by Company as per Labor Law Employment Contract 5 Years, Renewable Working Time Shift Duty of 8 Hours, 6 days’ work per week. Shift Time decided by the Client. Daily working may be extended up to 10 hours, however weekly total working hours will be 48 Hrs. OT provided if work hours exceed 48 hours per week or 6 days per week Responsibilities: Senior Technical Assistant (Enclosed herewith) Special Notes: (1) Candidates should pass the medical test before travelling to Qatar, as per company checklist. (2) Candidate should bring with him the attested original Educational Certificates. (3) Attested Original Certificate to be submitted to company during the employment for evaluation and will be returned after visa stamping. (4) Work location will be anywhere in Qatar as informed by the company and subject to change to any Project. (5) If the employee resigns before completion of 3 years, recruitment expenses to be paid by the employee (like Visa/Ticket Charge/any other). (6) Employee should have a valid Driving License from GCC or home country and obtain Qatar Driving License within 3 months from arrival in Doha. Employee may have to drive a vehicle as part of the job. Employee must bring with him International Driving License from his Home Country. (7) If the employee is absent for any working day, without informing the company, penalty imposed by Client will be charged to him, in addition to Edgewater imposed penalty. (8) During the probation period, if Client finds the employee not suitable, employee will return to his home Country. (9) Employee should provide Three (3) month notice before resigning. (10) Letter of Appointment (LOA) is valid upon joining in Qatar. (11) Other conditions applicable as per Qatar Labour Law.
