    The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the production processes, ensuring efficient and effective manufacturing, maintaining high-quality standards, and leading a team to meet production goals. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Production Planning and Scheduling:

    Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and production targets.
    Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure raw materials are available for production.
    Process Management:

    Oversee the entire production process, from raw material intake to finished product packaging.
    Ensure all production activities comply with company standards, quality specifications, and safety regulations.
    Implement and monitor production KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
    Quality Control:

    Establish and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet or exceed quality standards.
    Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes and finished products.
    Team Management:

    Lead, train, and supervise the production team, including production supervisors, operators, and support staff.
    Foster a positive and productive work environment.
    Continuous Improvement:

    Identify areas for improvement in production processes and implement innovative solutions.
    Utilize lean manufacturing principles to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.
    Safety and Compliance:

    Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the production team.
    Conduct regular safety training sessions and emergency drills.
    Budget Management:

    Manage the production budget and control costs while maintaining high production standards.
    Prepare reports on production performance and present them to senior management.

    Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
    Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role within the food industry, preferably in confectionery and biscuits manufacturing.
    Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
    Proven leadership and team management skills.
    Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    Proficient in using production management software and tools.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
