Job Summary:

As a Retail Salesperson i, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers. You will engage with customers, assist them in selecting clothing items, and ensure the store is well-maintained and visually appealing. Your role is key in driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:
  • Greet customers as they enter the store and offer assistance.
  • Understand customer needs and provide appropriate recommendations on clothing items.
  • Assist customers with fitting room use, including suggesting sizes and alternative items.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Sales:
  • Actively promote and upsell products to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of all products, including new arrivals and promotions.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point of sale (POS) system.
  • Assist in achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
• Visual Merchandising:
  • Ensure the store is tidy, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining displays, including seasonal promotions.
  • Replenish stock as needed and ensure products are well-stocked and properly displayed.
• Inventory Management:
  • Participate in regular inventory checks and stock counts.
  • Assist in receiving and unpacking new merchandise.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report low stock items to management.
• Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth store operations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving sales and customer experience.
  • Provide support to other departments as needed.
• Compliance:
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security.
  • Follow all cash handling procedures and ensure accurate financial transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the store environment.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • University Degree
• Experience:
  • Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in clothing or fashion, is an advantage.
• Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Customer-focused with a positive attitude and friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
  • Attention to detail and a good sense of fashion.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move merchandise as needed.
