Role overview:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Teacher Educator to lead a comprehensive, year-long course for pre-service teachers. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, and delivering a year-long curriculum focused on pedagogy, teaching strategies, classroom management, and assessment practices.
• Mentoring and guiding future teachers to develop practical teaching skills and professional competencies.
• Facilitating workshops, seminars, and practical teaching experiences.
• Assessing students’ progress and providing constructive feedback to support growth.
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure course objectives align with broader educational standards and institutional goals.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Teacher Education, or a related field.
• at least 3 years of experience
• Expertise in pedagogy, curriculum design, and instructional strategies.
• Strong mentoring, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to design and implement assessments that measure teaching competency.
• Proficiency in integrating technology into teaching and learning.
• Capacity to inspire and motivate students while fostering a positive learning environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a year-long course schedule effectively.
• Salary range : QAR 12,000- QAR 21,000
