ROLE DESCRIPTION 1.1 Duty Sales and Marketing Engineer specialize in technologically and scientifically advanced products & use their technical skills to explain the benefits of their products or services to potential customers and to show how their products or services are better than their competitors’ products.
1.2 Responsibility and Authority
Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining MEP products and services to current clients and prospective clients Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements Collaborate with sales and Marketing teams to understand Market requirements and provide sales support Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery Plan and modify products to meet clients needs Help clients solve problems with installed equipment Recommend improved materials or machinery to clients, showing how changes will lower costs or increase production Help in researching and developing new products
1.2.1 Authority Direct reporting to the Managing Director/CEO
1.3 Required Competencies Must have extensive knowledge of the products’ parts and functions and must understand the scientific processes that make these products work.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE 2.1 Required Qualifications Degree in Electrical Engineering Strong interpersonal skills Ability to make presentations in PowerPoint Problem solving skills should be confident and persuasive when making sales presentations Must have extensive knowledge MEP materials
2.2 Experience Possess a relevant experience in a construction/MEP company. 5 + years professional experience Fluent in English and Arabic Target driven Ability to work under pressure and in tight schedule Achieving weekly/ Monthly KPIs
